In the weeks leading up to the mid-term elections I traveled out of state to house sit for a friend. I took several bikes and rode daily but otherwise I had a lot of time on my hands. My friends have basic cable TV, so to help while away the hours I took to channel surfing. In the course of clicking through the menu I happened onto the Fox News Network for the first time. Well, I had no idea Fox News was so entertaining (Initially, I thought I was watching Saturday Night Live skits). With both their words and animated behavior, all the people on the Fox News shows reminded me of caricatures or cartoon characters, and it seemed obvious they didn't take themselves seriously at all. The various shows were hilarious and I laughed until there were tears in my eyes.

I'm back home now and have lots to occupy my time, but I find myself missing the nightly Fox News laugh fests (Though not enough to sign up for cable/satellite TV).
