We were just having this discussion here in my office, yesterday.

WD40 works for me.

One of the conversers offered up Peanut Butter. Sez his granma told him about it and he tried it and it actually works. I'm not vouching, but I'm curious.

Try "goof off" too. It is a spray, but works great on stickers.

I've used peanut butter and WD 40 with varied success. My personal favorite is Goo Gone. You can find it at auto parts stores, or at most hardware & drug stores.

Any light oil or skin moisturizer works great. The best I've used is Avon 'Skin So Soft'. The only problem is it's scented and the smell slightly nauseates me. It will lift the glue really easily, then some detergent cleans the oil residue away.

Naail polish remover has been known to do a number on some paint jobs, especialy those that are not clear coated....
