Need advice on these two road bikes and how they compare. I rode both and they both were great. Anyone else here ever evaluated these two bikes? Need a little advice..

One lucky RBRer met Bobby Julich of CSC while riding and rode with him. Bobby rode his soloist TEAM and said he absolutely loved it and if it were up to him, he'd ride/buy the soloist team over the other bikes (including the soloist carbon).

That must mean something great about the soloist team alright. Julich endorses it!

Soloist - more aerodynamic and well, faster as a result.

Good luck

I was in the same position a few months ago.. I then based my choice on the relationship I would be haing with the LBS..

Consequently I got a Cinelli Mecano.. My second choice would have been the Pinarello, then Cervelo.

Good luck.

that lucky RBRer was me :) he's from the philly area and we ended up on the same path and rode together.

we talked, the majority of the time, about his soloist team. He talked VERY highly of his cervelo and said that of all the bikes in the cervelo line up for the Paris-Nice and other races he chose the aluminum soloist team. He said to throw he just throws a set of Zipps on for racing and thats all he'll ever need. I believe his exact quote was, "value per dollar, this is the absolute best bike i've ever ridden and owned"

not to mention, they are downright sexyyyy hahah. I'm building one in the spring
