I am considering the new Ritchey WCS Carbon Fork 340gr for me new bike, as I can get a really good deal. I cannot find any reviews on this fork, nor do I know anyone that owns one. I like the look of the fork, but I would like a quality ride as well.

I know the Ouzo Pro weights about 100grs more, so I was considering the Ouzo Pro lite, but I don't know what the ride quality is.

It there is anyone that can comment on the Ritchey or the Ouzo Pro lite, that would be great!

Nothing will be as nice as the Reynolds Ouzo. There's a reason most high-end, one-off manufacturers use it and nothing else.

There's also nothing (save for a Wound Up) that will be as sturdy as the Reynolds. I'm 145 lbs and broke my WCS's dropouts off. Not cool.

Ouzo Pro or Look HSC4 or 5.

HSC 5 is out of the question for me, due to built-in carbon flange.

Do you really think the HSC 4 is comparable to the Ouzo Pro? How about the HSC4 SL?

ouzo is the flagship/ benchmark of all forks IMO. then again, i used the columbus muscle fork and i think it does a similar job as the ouzo.

The Easton Ec90 SLX weighs 290 grams and is strong as hell.

The Easton SLX fork is also in its own class when it comes to price....

I know the Ouzo and the Easton forks are the standards.... but it seemed to be worth asking about the Ritchey forks. The Ritchey Pro Carbon fork seems to be at an excellent price/weight point...

(I started a seperate thread also asking about the Ritchey forks but didn't get any responses)
