I've done well with Rider Paradise and Rothshek. Other than those two, you'd have to give ebay ID's (names).
Those 2 were quite reliable and I had no problems.

If they are in HK or Taiwan and have a lot of positive feedback with a 99%+ percentage then they might just have access to cheap stuff at cheap prices, especially for "made in china" stuff.

If it's a name-brand item like a Colnago at dirt-cheap, particularly from an eastern european seller, the scam risk is high.

I don't think I would risk it for 4-figure items like highend gruppos.

I have ordered many times, but sometimes the shipping is a pain as far as how long it takes to get to the USA.

What does the geographical distance have to do with it??

If you are in Miami and buying from Seattle; how is that different than being in Portland and buying from Indonesia??

I deal with international buyers and sellers all the time.

If the seller isn't next door to my house, it doesn't matter where they are.

I bought a frame from Europe and pedals from Asia. Never had an issue. Shipping was accually faster than I expected. I usually check the feedback and what people write when items get shipped to USA. I e-mailed one USA buyer prior to bidding . He had good experience also. :thumbsup:

I bought a Look 231, Nos, a couple of years ago. It arrived in about a week, brand spankin new. Shipping was only $40. Don't know how he shipped it from the Far East that cheap, but he did. I think the guys from Germany and Lick-N-Shine are probably legit. they post lots of stuff with week long long auctions.
