New SealLine collection brings dry storage out of the backcountry and onto city streets with functional, stylish gear protection solutions
SEATTLE, Wash. – SealLine, the global leader in portable gear protection for challenging environments, is expanding its 2007 collection to include the Urban series, a line designed to protect against unruly weather often found in city living. This product line of functional, PVC-free bags, packs, and accessories features the same guaranteed protection that has made SealLine the dry storage leader in the outdoor market for more than 20 years. It also emphasizes smart-looking designs that fit the urban aesthetic. The Urban series will be available in stores in January 2007.
“We know that most dry storage gear hasn’t exactly been designed with an eye for the city dweller,” said Erik Flink, SealLine Brand Manager.“ This is gear people can live out of, taking them from the morning commute to any variety of after-hours activities. The Urban line was created for the eco-minded urbanite, the performance-first bike messenger, or the young professional who isn’t quite the leather-briefcase type.”
The splash-proof Urban Shoulder Bag™ (available in two sizes) appeals to a wide range of users, from the traditional commuter to the bike messenger. The main pocket is spacious enough for a SealLine Computer Sleeve™ and is complemented by an internal organizer for pens, keys, sunglasses, and business cards. The roll-top Urban Backpack™ is watertight, features a sophisticated waterproof, breathable back panel and shoulder suspension system with hideaway waist belt, and is great for town or trail.
