You may have heard about the storm that smacked the PNW last night. Since it was Friday, I figured this would be a good time to hop on the bike and tour some of the post-storm carnage around town.
I didn't have to ride far; the fallen oak and the hammy utility workers were less than a block from my house.
The wind direction could not have been more perfect to spare Red Robin.

I was planning to take the underpass trail but had to find another route.
The City wants our soccer league to move our fields down to Bryant Park. I'm not in favor of this idea.
Look kids: Water!
Why are the bike lanes always the first to go?

The carnage in Vancouver, BC was pretty bad too. Downed trees all over and lots of power outages. With that came knocked traffic lights and grid lock like I have never seen before. It's nice to be on a bike on a day like that. :)
We are still without power. Ill post some pictures here when it comes back on. We went for a walk today and saw one house literally cut in half about two blocks away.

Wow, the Northwest Hurricane. I'd need a beer too after that.
