ru1-2cycle 12-19-2006, 09:06 AM Would you believe that I just got the sweetest deal on
a Selle Italia C2 Gel Flow Vanox Carbon saddle?
US$37.50, now, that is less than 50% lower than
any other merchant on line!
I believe I got the last one, sorry...:D
Ridgetop 12-19-2006, 02:34 PM Let us know how the order goes. I know they posted about the new ownership (think it was these guys) and I want to know how good they are.

I received the saddle in less than X2 days, but unfortunately it was the wrong saddle, with FEC rails, much heavier @ 307 gr. rather than the listed Vanox Carbon listed @ 210 gr.
When I inquired via phone about this erroneous delivery I was told that it was an "erroneous listing", and that they would send me a UPS label via e-mail, to print it out and to return the parcel ASAP. That was very convenient for me, specially X2 days before Christmas day!
Now, I am waiting for the replacement saddle, not the Carbon Vanox, but the one with the Mg rails @ 275 gr.
So, next time I will call them before acting on a listed item price that is "too good to be true"...:mad2: :cryin:
Ridgetop 12-28-2006, 04:01 PM "Erroneous listing" is crap IMO. I hate when someone pulls that stuff. Good luck with the other saddle. My wife just got me a Fizik Aliante from RScycle.com. I'm hoping it fits my tail well.

Hey Ridgetop, I envy you man! I had to "butter up" my wife to get this C2 saddle order, and she still does not know about the Scattante XRL frame that I purchased the day after Christmas, while I wait for my carbon frame warranty job from RS Cycle.
Man, your saddle is more expensive than my frame/fork and headset, which I got in another sweet deal with Performance Bike (they have a Fisik Aliante listed @ $273.99- OUCH!) on line, and redeeming the 10% off coupon translated to getting the shipping, $21.00, for free, he-he!:p
Anyway, that is another topic for another thread...
Regards, and happy new year!:D
ru1-2cycle 12-29-2006, 07:06 AM :mad2: I have not received my promised C2 Mg rails saddle, not even an e-mail
as to the status of their "order".
I therefore have canceled the order and left a heartfelt email of customer dissatisfaction.
I will check with my credit card regarding the crediting of the returned order, with their UPS label conveniently provided, totaling $47.65 (USD).
I was not happy to fall victim for this "erroneous listing".:mad2: ru1-2cycle
ru1-2cycle 12-30-2006, 07:02 AM Update: I called my credit card to verify the credit back to my card from
BikePartsUSA.com, and to my disappointment again, it has not occurred, as I had requested.
Morgan had replied to me via e-mail he would "issue a refund".
Now, I suggest that if you want to succeed at serving others, you must learn to LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMER and try to meet their needs in a proactive manner!
If a customer asks for a credit back to the card, it means:
a credit back to their credit card, NOT A REFUND. And if a refund is all you can do, then, do not promise a credit and deliver a refund.:mad2:
