I purchased a set of FSA RD-460 24 hole Cyclocross disc wheels for my Giant OCR touring bike which I have been building. Those things are sweeeet, however, the OLD spacing is 130mm and my frame is 135mm. The spacing on the hub can not be changed. Myself and a bike shop already tried. The frame compresses to the wheel fine but it throws off the angle for the disc brake caliper mount. I don't mind swapping the hub but I don't want to loose the rim. I am having a hell of a time finding a 135mm 24 hole disc hub in either road or mountain flavors to replace the FSA hub. I am told that Giant used a 24 hole XT disc hub as a warrantee replacement item for the OCR Touring bikes. I can't find any info on this hub anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find a suitable hub? Can I use a 32 or 36 hole hub?

Check Sheldon Brown's web site. I thought I saw something there about using 36 hole hubs for 24 spoke builds (could be wrong.)

Also check the Alfred E. Bike web site. They have an online catalog of just about anything that can be ordered. I think Texoma Cycling Center also has an extensive orderable online catalog.

Ive seen them on many Cannondale mountain bikes. Its a a cannondale house-brand hub found on many of their UST tubeless wheelsets. Made by Formula so its fairly well made, but not the greatest.

A cannondale dealer could order you one for sure. Im !00% sure on this, im sitting here looking at my set right now. If Cannondale sold it, they must have a million of them somewhere.

On ebay right now is a very, very nicely made rear hub from DT-Swiss. 24 holes. This is a hub that would last forver. I have the (lighter) 240 version, and mine has 3 years of almost daily riding on it, including 7 or 8 severely muddy 100 mile races. Still smooth as new.

Back when I worked at American Classic they got in a couple boxes of rear disc hubs that were drilled incorrectly with 24 holes. You could try giving them a call and see if they still have any left.
