Has anyone ridden these wheels?? They are the new for 07 shimano wheels and I can't find diddly review wise on these wheels. I've purchased a Specialized Roubaix expert and just want to make sure I won't be running into any surprises with these wheels. Looking at the wheels they remind me of Mavic Kysrium Elites, which I currently own. I hope the Ultegra wheels are as good as the Elites...

I have a set of 0 Ultegra 6600 wheels. They are great. They are stiff, not terribly heavy and roll forever. The hubs are standard loose ball bearing, so there is less drag that sealed bearing wheels. Mine didn't go ot of true, but they did lose some tension. I put a 1/4 into them and they are perfect. I've ridden tham all winter and had zero problems. You can get deals on the 06 wheels on Ebay. They are identical to the 07s except for graphics and color.

I bought a set of wheels with Ultegra hubs and Open Pro hubs about a year ago. They are the new style Ultegra hubs and are a distinct improvement over the previous Ultegra hubs (I have had another set of those for many years). The new Ultegra hubs are not only lighter but roll better than the older ones.

How do they roll better?
I have some old 600 Hubs as well as the new 6600 Ultegra hubs - I don't really appreciate the difference.
