Basically I need to know what FW tool you've used to remove the FW... the nut is too big for the Park FR-6 to fit and the nut can't be removed, meaning removing the axle might be the only other option.

What's the rear spacing on the San Jose? If it's greater than 120mm, you are probably out of luck....The axle nut and spacers get in the way.
I've always removed the nut. It's a PITA but I haven't found an alternative. I've check Danscomp.com and other BMX sites for tools but they all have the same cone shape that won't allow you to remove the freewheel without removing the nut...

That's the thing... can't remove the nut. Too tight, plus I can't even get a wrench on the cone flats because the FW is is the way.

Remove the nut on the other side and push the axle out on the drive side...I've had to do this before too....
