Hello, I'm new here.
So I have an old Italian lugged steel track frame and fork that I got my hands on a year ago and would like to know what it is, if possible. It came to me stripped of any original paint and rattle-canned. I have since polished the tubing, pin-striped it and gave it a repaint and clear coat. I know it's Italian because all the threading is Italian. Also, all the drop-outs are Campagnolo, as well there is a tiny stamp of the Columbus bird logo on the fork's steer tube. There are no distinct marking, casts, or cut-outs on the frame like you would find on Colnagos, deRosas, Cinelli, or the like. The only marking is the letters "UDB" stamped into the tops of both sides of the fork crown and a serial number stamped into the BB shell. The Serial # is "9 12 25".
It's a shot in the dark I know but maybe someone out there will know something more than I. It's just for my information. The bike is complete now and loads of fun to ride.
Many thanks
