Anybody yet to get their hands on the new Shimano SPD D/A 7810 pedals? I'm anxious to hear some 1st hand feedback on these. They look nice, however in the photos it appears they are still using paint over aluminum for the main pedal body. I hope that's not the case. You would think that for $250.00, they could spring for some anodization at the very least. The steel friction plate should get rid of the annoying squeak that always arose after a few hundred miles with the plastic version and the wider platform should definitely be an improvement.
