More info is needed; exact components on the bike, wheel details and good pictures against a plain background (garage door for instance). Then edit your post on the Serotta forum with all these items. There are folks there that are interested but they like for sale ads that are pretty specif about the bike and include pictures. Your asking price is (IMO) slightly high but not far out of the ballpark.

Put an add in the serotta forum and the RBR classifieds. you'll reach a smaller number of buyers but if you attract one no eBay fees. 3-4 year old Atlanta with chorus 10sp or ultegra 9 spd with open pro wheels could go from $800-$1200 depends on shape.

That Atlanta you have is one of the best all-around road bikes ever built and its not replaceable. Does it not fit you? Just hankering for something new? If you've logged a lot of miles on that bike and gotten used to it, you are going to be kicking yourself for getting rid of it.....no matter what your new ride is.

Have to agree bikemoore. you'll be hard pressed to find a better all-around bike. are you going custom or been swayed by the carbon movement? If it's a 3yr old just sell the frame and transfer the components.

Atl's are great, but more than 3 years old for sure.

The last Atlantas were built in 2000.

I took it to a good bike shop The bike biz in sacramento and they helped me size it to fit better. the peoblem was that it never really fit right. now that it does i love every minute on it . i am however thinking of getting a carbon fork and upgrading the front a little. thanks to eveyone who helped me. i am glad i kept it.

I have bought/re-sell several Serottas on eBay.
If you list it on eBay I'm guessing you will get somewhere between $500 to $1500 depends on who is bidding. Timing is everything.
It's a wonderful bike but bhere is very little demand for classic steel road bike these day.
