This was yesterday's dictionary.com word of the day that I recieved in my inbox.
It sounds like a German track rider explaining what kind of bike he rides and the definition is pertinent to fixies.
idee fixe \ee-day-FEEKS\, noun:
An idea that dominates the mind; a fixed idea; an obsession.
