View Full Version : Honey would you do something for me...
thatsmybush 06-22-2004, 11:48 AM Jack Ryan (R) candidate for senate apparently has a couple of interesting hobbies. I like to showcase my wife as well knowing how I married up, but yet have I asked her to have sex with me in front of the masses in sex clubs. Shouldn't he be protesting in front of these places as a good conservative and not inside with the libs?
Now the right is talking about how the issues matter and not the personal life of their candidate. Where is Henry Hyde now to "catch the falling flag."

Live Steam 06-22-2004, 12:01 PM People going through a divorce make all kinds of crazy accusations in order to get some leverage. It may be true, but then again I have heard worse allegations in a divorce case that were patently false. I know someone who accused her husband of molesting their 7 year old daughter in order to ensure she got custody and a boat load of money. The poor guy was in shock and crying. He didn't know how to respond to the allegation, and just gave in to his wife's demands rather than have the entire episode dragged into the public eye and to have his kid go through the humiliation of the trial. He is not a child molester. Can you believe that someone could be so malicious as to make that sort of claim against another person just for money?
If these allegations are true I wouldn't support his run. Mr. Historian, do you believe everything you read? Until it is proven, I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
thatsmybush 06-22-2004, 12:06 PM Come on Steam where is your famous LOL!!! Have a sense of humor about this sort of thing. Have you seen his wife from Boston Public, I am thinking of moving to his state just to vote for him. I can't believe he just doesn't switch parties so he can hang with Ted Kennedy. He and Bubba should compare notes and see if they were at any of the same places. (Really steam these are easy you should have come out hitting with these)
Unfortunately, she (being very wealthy) has no reason to lie and would probably want this to be kept quiet if not for a custody battle that has gotten nasty. Here is hoping for the tell all Playboy spread.

thats a laugh. have you seen bubba's wife? besides, he'd lie about what he did with who anyway and you cant count on an accurate story from teddy. due to his gut, he hasnt seen the twig and berries for years.
Live Steam 06-22-2004, 12:17 PM Yes she has money, but she wants custody and may feel the need to paint him as unseemly. She is, after all, part of the Hollywood set. His attorney may be trying to make is seem as if she would be an unfit mother because "she isn't home much and you know what that Hollywood bunch is into."
You're probably right. He should be a Democrat. That is the unseemly crew! LOL!!! How's that?
Alex-in-Evanston 06-22-2004, 12:48 PM Moot point in terms of the race, Barak is going to crush, but it doesn't do much for Ryan's future with the party.
Being a foregone conclusion, the interesting aspect to this race is Karl Rove's HUGE mistake to deliberately piss off Fitzgerald to open up the seat for a line-toer like Ryan. Democrats were OK with Fitzgerald's record, he would have won in a walk. O'Bama never would have gained momentum against him.
Now you've lost a seat and created a Rock Star of a young Democrat in O'Bama. Bad move.
PdxMark 06-22-2004, 02:01 PM Let's presume Mr. Ryan is innocent until "proven" guilty... wow, I can't even believe Steam can SAY that with a straight face after hundreds of posts here accusing Democrats of everything from treason to moral bankruptcy without anything more that a bare-faced allegation from some Right-wing nutcase...
We can hope that Steam's skepticism about outlandish accusations is based on a newly-developed sense of fairness. Conratulations, Steam! It will be nice to see how well you apply your new sense of fairness to Democrats...
In case anyone wants to see the released divorce papers, here they are:

Perhaps she is lying in writing under oath with lots of details... the problem is that it doesn't sound that way when you read it... Details, different places...
But at least we know that candidate Jack Ryan supports marriage and the Defense of Marriage Act... "I believe that marriage can only be defined as that union between one man and one woman," but maybe it should be corrected to read
"I believe that marriage can only be defined as a conjugal union between one man and one woman, in the presence of watching strangers..."

czardonic 06-22-2004, 05:36 PM When he said the race should focus less on his married life and more on issues like <i>"family values"</i>!?
Obviously, the guy's got a big problem if he can't satisfy his rocks with a woman as sexy and attractive as Seven of Nine. I mean, can you imagine being married to her??
Live Steam 06-22-2004, 06:14 PM He has nothing to prove himself innocent of. He didn't break any laws and as far as I can tell, and she went along willingly. I find it rather odd that she would go with him and then complain about it, if it indeed happened at all.
Jeri Ryan said her then-husband took her on three "surprise trips" in the spring of 1998 to New Orleans, New York and Paris, during which he took her to sex clubs. She said she refused to go in the first and went into the second at his insistence.
"Surprise trips" implies she didn't know where he was taking her, or she was brow-beaten into going. I would find it "rather odd" if any decent woman DIDN'T complain.
How many times must you try and fail to make black look white LS, before you get that you're lousy at it?
Live Steam 06-22-2004, 06:57 PM I know she's a blonde, but how many times could she possibly be "surprised"? Hey, I think you said you are divorced. How'd that go for you? Your wife make any unsubstantiated statements that hurt your position?
Dave_Stohler 06-22-2004, 08:18 PM She's married to him? On the show, she kinda came off as a dyke.

Nice try, but 'no cigar' as usual.
