SRAM Corporation has announced it will expand the Force front brake recall to include the Force labeled rear brakes. Previous notification recalled only front brakes due to a potential metallurgy failure in the mounting bolt. SRAM will replace any Force brake caliper assemblies (front and rear) produced within the specified time frame as detailed in the revised tech bulletin (attached). The expanded recall is motivated by additional metallurgical analysis coupled with one failed rear mounting bolt. SRAM believes replacing both front and rear brakes at this time is the safest and least intrusive path for our customers.<o></o>

All other actions to respond to this issue remain the same as outlined in the previous notification.<o>
