I removed most of the "safety" stickers on my new carbon frame bike. However, the Bike shop's sticker and the frame size sticker seem to be tough. Any advice? I can tell they will rip if I force it at worst or leave some gunk behind at best.
Note that I'm NOT trying to remove branding decals - all of these are over a clear coat.
Thanks,

Store decals should be easy to remove. I hate those things--- at least on my high end bike, they had the decency to leave them off. I will never allow those dealership stickers on my cars either--- last dealership was almost offended.

A hair dryer to soften the adhesive, just wave it back and forth over the sticker until it is noticably warm than it should just peel right off. There might be some residual glue which can easily be removed with a mild solvant/cleaner.

My dad found out what advertising rates were for billboards (which are based on # of people who can see it), and figured out an adverstising rate based on the number of people that would see the sticker on the back of the car during his 45 minute commute. The guy was also offended.
When I bought my last car, I didn't even leave the lot before I took out a small screwdriver and removed the license plate frame.
As for the OP, a hair dryer works, as does WD40.

Is this ok with a carbon frame? I don't want to damage anything.
Thanks much

Yes heating the sticker will be ok on a carbon frame.

It worked like a charm (heating, peeling and wiping with WD40).
THANKS!
I love the internet :)
