Hey Guys, my team was given an old specialized tri-spoke with what appears to be an 8 speed freehub, however we cant get 10 speed to run on it and evne if we could we dont need more rears, but we do need another tri-spoke front. Is there any way of converting a rear to a front like that? Some of our other tri-spokes appear to have had something in this nature done to them in the past, but HED is being sneaky as to whether it can be done or not. Thanks

Only an old freewheel type Tri-Spoke can be converted to a front wheel by changing the axel and spacers. If the wheel has an 8 speed cassette body, it will fit a 8, 9, or 10 speed cassette.(Shimano)
If it has an 8 speed Campy cassette body, the body can be changed to a 9/10 speed Campy body.
