I am an exchange student in Chur Switzerland and I need a bike! Unfortunately, bikes cost like 4 times as much as a comparable bike in the U.S. I just want to find something worthy of the mountain climbs that I dreamt of for years. If I don't get a bike while I'm here I am always going to look back at this and kick myself. If anyone knows where any good shops/flea markets/ places to get bikes are, please post! Thanks!

Somewhat competitive prices for high end bikes like Colnago, Look and Time. Don't let their name fool you, they are located in Switzerland. Look at the Kuota Kharma frame and build it with Ultegra and DT Swiss DT340/DT R1.1 wheels for $2000.
