OK, I know you're all feeling sorry that I need to make such a tough decision, but it's been a long time coming. Currently ride a C'dale R2000. Love it, but I need something a little more compliant for those long rides (80-120 miles).

I've been looking at the reviews here and on other sites and see the same basic terms used for each - "stiff, but really soaks up the vibrations." I understand in the case of the BMC that it's a race bike so I know it's not going to be super smooth. I don't have any feedback on the Orca other than what the dealer told me (and he wants to sell a bike pretty badly in Feb).

Thoughts? Comments? Appreciate any feedback.

After being hitting an obstruction in the road and breaking a foot, the old bike was to damaged to ride again. So I rode both the BMC and Orbea Orca and Specialized Tarmac and Roubaix.
The BMC was a "solid" ride. What one could expect for a racing bike, the ride was nice, not overly punishing, but not something I would want to do on back to back centuries.
The Specialized Tarmac is also a nice bike, nice paint and a very sharp ride. Cuts corners like a dime and rides well. It does a bit better job in MHO about soaking up road vibration but not by much (again it is meant for racing). The Orbea Orca seemed to track a bit better than the BMC in corners, and did not seem as skidish when doing desents. It was about the same as far as soaking up road vibration as the Tarmac.
The Roubaix is a totally different story. It corners well, not skidish on corners and desents. Tracks corners well and does a very fine job of soaking up road vibration. I could see myself using this bike for longer rides. This BTW is the one I purchased.
All 4 bikes had very little if no bottom bracket flex at all. All had nice paint jobs, seemed to have nice finish as well in the joints (unless they are monocoque).
I hope that this helps you. If I could make a recommendation, ride each bike over a bad street if the dealer will let you for about 10 miles. This should give you a good impression about the bike.
