After dismissing with great indignation the Iraq Study Group recommendation that Iran & Syria be invited to talks about stability in Iraq, Condi is now inviting Iran & Syria to talks. Go figure.

So is W's flip-flopping on regional diplomacy a sign that things have changed in Iraq since the ISG report came out, that W didn't understand the ISG report at the time, or that he knew he should follow the recommendations but had to appear dismissive & independent because that's just what his base likes to see?
