just a quick question for u rare breed of fixed geared riders. im a "normal" road bike rider and was just wondering if anyone liked riding backward on the fixed gear???
i got on a friends fixed gear today and thought riding backward and in backward 360's were more fun than actuly riding the fixed gear. does anyone else enjoy doing this??? ( its fun!!!)

You were doing backward 360s your first time on a fixie? You have a trials or bmx street background?
I've tried riding backwards for kicks, 360s or otherwise, and I can't get the hang of it. I suspect it's one of those things like wheelies that some people pick up with ease (thus pissing the rest of us off) and others try endlessly to master and never can seem to get the technique down...

yea i ride a little trials and bmx. i did spend like 2 hours practicing riding backwards in a tennis court.

I dunno if riding backwards 360's is more fun than actually riding fixed, but I would say it's an added bonus. it's all part of the rider and the bike becoming one... OHMMMMM..............
