I used to do quite a bit of riding around Blacksburg a few years ago. I only go back once or twice a year now to visit family so I'm not as knowledgeable about the area as I used to be.
Where is the best tight, twisty, technical singletrack to be found now? I did some riding around Poverty Creek and Brush Mountain last fall which was great fun. However, I need to get some practice in on the technical stuff for the upcoming races here at home (northern IL and southern WI).
The downhills at Brush can't be beat but we don't have that sort of vertical relief here. The trail along the creek at the bottom of Brush is fun but not "technical:.
