Has anyone had the privilege of comparing an Ibex Aprisa Elite and a Specialized Roubaix Elite on the road? I have compared the geometries as much as possible from online data. The Roubaix is full carbon 06 model ($1400 on sale). Longer WB and slacker head angle on Roubaix but Aprisa Elite has lower Bottom bracket height so riding position may be very similar. Mostly concerned with ride vs. handling tradeoff. Also, long haul efficiency (weight).

I have an '07 Aprisa 6600 and an '05 Roubaix Elite...full carbon.

I'm no expert, but I can certainlytry to answer any questions you may have.

I think for the money, both bikes are great. IMO the Aprisa is a little quicker in the way that it handles, but the Roubaix seems to be a smoother ride. The fit was pretty similar on both, I didn't notice any big difference. I have the 51cm Aprisa, and the 52cm Roubaix.
