Is it difficult to switch Powertap Sl between 2 bikes. I am thinking about getting one and am debating wether or not to spring for the wireless one. I probably do not need the wireless one but it sounds convienent because of the absence of wires. Plus its alot more expensive.

Are there alot of wires to deal with on the regular versions?

Thanks for your feedback.

Just get a second wiring harness for the second bike. It's only an extra ~$65. Once that's on there (which is easy) swapping from bike to bike is as simple as changing out the rear wheel and unclipping and clipping in the head unit. At that point, it's no different swapping between bikes than the "wireless" version. Piece of cake.

Just my 2 pesos.

Its all done with zip ties. Takes me less then ten min to mount the sl. Just tie on the sensers for the wheel and the cadence and mount the computer mount on your stem. The first users of the wireless had a fair amoint of issues with battery life and dropped signals. I don't know if they have worked these issues out yet.

Great. Thanks for the info, it sounds pretty easy. I'll probably go with the SL and save a few bucks.
