I have been shopping for a bike frame for some time now, and had just about given up on finding a WSD Italian frame when I found the beautiful website for Smart Cycles in Connecticut.
I wrote the guy a simple email; "Can you put brazeons on this bike so I can have permanently installed fenders?" he quickly replied "yes, we can put brazeons on this bike frame"
After about 20 emails, he called me and I ended up buying a bike frame from him. "Made by Antonio before he retired... One of the last ones!"
I gave him my visa card info and I was in business. But i'm sort of a worry wart and sent him an email a week later.. "this bike's going to have brazeons, right?" " oh yes", he said, " I know just what you want"

well, the bike frame came ... no brazeons. (this is the short version, there were several other misunderstandings that accompanied this lovely bike frame that i will spare you the details of)

It came in a box with the fork, also gorgeous.. and no packing slip. I never got a bill of sale, so Until i contested the whole transaction, I wasn't even sure about what I paid for.

When I expressed my extreme disappointment for not getting what i thought I was,
he told me he charges a 20% repacking fee!!

Do NOT do business with this guy unless you REALLY know what you are doing.
(I obviously had a lot to learn)

I have a complete paper trail of our transactions conversations and stupidity.
