this shop in the boston area - Landry's on comm ave - is selling the BMC Aluminum/carbon frame/fork for $750. sizes available in 52, 54, 56cm, i saw the frames today and they're gorgeous.

Just called the Landry's on Comm Ave. No BMC frames are on sale. They also checked all stock for the whole chain. Nope.

If you were told none were on sale, that's probably right. $750 doesn't sound like a sale to me if the frame in question is the one I'm thinking of.
