Working ona 2007 rockey mtn Solo Cx and the customer wants to go disk brakes. What is everyone using for hubs ? Or wheelsets wiothout going crazy on price say around 500.00 dollars. Thanks Bill

Thanks Bill Streetking 03-23-2007, 11:03 PM If the frame has 135 rear spacing, you can use every mtb disc hub with some mavic open pro rims...... The only disc wheelsets i know are the mavic speedcity and the bontrager select disc. I've got two wheelsets with DT 240S disc hubs, one with mavic open pro and the other with DT RR 1.1. And, for the sunday ride, two Xentis mark1... The 240S-wheelsets work better than the carbon sets. Greetings Jörg arkadi01 03-24-2007, 11:55 AM If you have 130 spacing, FSA 460 takes disks. For 135 disk only, I use an LX hub with mavic A317s. Cuz it's cheap. $130 bucks at nashbar. |
