I specialize in climbing but also want a bike that can hold up on the flats. Price isnt necessarily that much of an issue. And for now fitting doesnt matter. So maby you guys could give me some ideas. Some of the bikes I am looking at:

Giant tcr comp
Look 585

I'm not sure what you mean when you say fitting doesn't matter. Do you mean that you don't have any problem finding stock bikes that fit you?

if price is no object you could look also at the vxrs/translink series and the extreme c.
but the 585 is the bike i use as a benchmark for all-around. I was going to sell mine--it has been trapped in my garage behind stuff since october. last weekend i had a chance to get it out and rode it--don't think i will part with it.

You've previously posted that you're still growing. Spending over $3,000 on a frame that you'll soon outgrow seems unwise. There are plenty of cheap aluminum frames that would do the job.

But since you're still growing, so yeah, get a cheaper bike or maybe, one that's a size bigger so you could fit it if you grew (although if you grow like a lot, then :eek: )

Fondriest Carb-level. As great all-rounder as all rounder gets. You can probably find a frame on closeout for less than $1200.

Buy an Ebay auctioned giant. the TCR is all carbon less than $700 usually.
