Sunday is my big ride day, but even those have been few and far between this year due to other commitments. Today I planned a century, but I knew I was in trouble before I was even half way done. Too hot. By then I was committed though, since I couldn't turn around without running out of water.

That haze in the distance isn't haze, its pine pollen.

Heh. No, I put it on there for a rainy ride some time back, and since its not in the way I've just left it.

The Pines are a couple months out for us. I hate that stuff. A month of snot for me. And Blue Lake Tahoe turns into Yellow Stew Lake Tahoe. Those roads look great. Did you make a century?

Nope. Gotta find another 7 miles out there somewhere on the loop because I refuse to do laps around the neighborhood to make up the difference. And I'm not sure I had another 7 miles left in me anyhow. :)
