If you want people to know who you used to be, put your old screen name in your signature. You can add/change a signature from User CP at the top left of the page.

But I'm sure we'll all get used to it. At the moment it seems to take longer. Good news is that I've gained a capital letter on my screen name thus correcting an error!

supercorsa
02-03-2004, 11:55 PM
i've always been supercorsa here, but i was skronk over on mtbr. since i was a roadie before mountain bikes even came down the pike i figured i'd standardize and be supercorsa on both.

How often in life do we get to change our names?

Just in case you were wondering, I was msmootsiemartin.

CycloPathic

Was DZrider, now rusa1586

Now I am a bit disappointed, Dave. I always thought DZ stands for dizzy, not initials. You know when you really get tired at night on long brevets from sleep deprivation and can't hold the line.

Colton

Was Ti22... now its Colton.

BTW, got the Orbit X from Chucks. Charged me $20 for shipping (cost was less than $5) but defintely an accomodation as my credit card, despite being US issued is now billed to my UK address. Cost of doing business. Total of $40, still less than £55. Thanks for the tip.

Regards

 20$ to ship? that's a rip off!

If I'd knew I'd get it for you and ship over via mail or bring when I go to England.. of cause you'd have to wait 'till '05 I'd be there for LEL. :)

The dizziness came later and has little to do with riding. Once, climbing a long hill on the 2nd day of a 600k I was determined to use as little energy as possible to get to the top. The couple riding a tandem that caught me said they'd never seen anybody ride that slowly for so long. My balance must have been fine.

and no relation to Dizzy Gilespie?

Afterall Dizzy, the magnificent Dizzy, was a wonderful trek rider before he dedicated his life to music. I think it is more memorable then being one of RUSA riders. Besides, you have 1585 of them ahead of you. :p

User names, how did you come up with yours? What does it stand for? Do you care to tell us
or would you rather not? Mine is based on my initials and where I live. It wasn't my first choice. Probably my 15th or 20th!:D

tarwheel2
08-02-2007, 03:58 AM
Years ago, I was bianchi boy. Then I changed to tarwheel after I sold my Bianchi. Then RBR changed something at the site and I was no longer able to login as tarwheel. Couldn't remember my password and didn't get a response from the site administrator when I sent an email. So I re-registered as tarwheel2.

So, tarwheel2 = tarwheel = bianchi boy

I still would prefer to use plain old "tarwheel" as my screen name if I could figure out what my password was back the, but it's been a while. ...

Mr. Versatile
08-02-2007, 05:07 PM
I settled on Mr. Versatile because I am. I'm a Journeyman Cabinet Maker, I'm licensed to teach Math, English, Science and Social Studies, and Special Ed. I'm a professional photographer who owned a studio for 15 years, and I can also play sax professionally. That's pretty versatile.
