I just purchased a R1000 with full Ultegra (brakes as well) components and Cosmos wheels. Also, Shimano R600 pedals with a pair of Nike Poggio shoes. The bike should be in this Thursday, so I'm hoping my girlfriend will give me an hour or two to get acquainted with it. I had tried the Trek 2200 while I was at the store, but when I was hauling ass around the back lot of the place, I felt that the Trek was not as responsive as the Dale. I was trying to explain how the bike just takes off to a few friends, but only the guys at the store knew what I was really talking about. So, I'm glad got the bike, just anxious to hop back on it again.
