View Full Version : "not guilty"
Hollywood 04-09-2007, 01:38 PM that was the plea by 24 yr. old Hector Valazquez-Nava who killed Robert Clark, the director of "Porky's", "A Christmas Story" and other films, along with his 22 year old son in a car crash last week.
Hector had no drivers license, no insurance, is an illegal immigrant and was drunk. He's being held on $200,000 bail.
Think his sole remaining son will get behind equal rights for all immigrants? Will Hector return to Mexico and pay $3500 for his new "Z" Visa? I'm optimistic.....

rocco 04-09-2007, 02:02 PM I've been anticipating this sort of post about this situation for about a week. What Hector Valazquez-Nava did was abominable, period. The rhetorical questions are silly.

I didn't type "exclusive". I'm responsible (and paranoid) enough to have all my paperwork in order - tags, insurance, not drinking & driving, etc. Some obviously don't give a schit, on multiple levels. I'm curoius to see what happens to Hector. Slap on the wrist? Deported? Jail? I'm also trying to sense what Bob's surviving son's perspective is now on immigration reform. Maybe that's silly too.

There are a couple ways to look at this tragedy...
You can either support illegals, and allow them to get special drivers licenses and insurance, or you can round them all up and kick 'em out...
Good luck on the latter...
BTW, don't worry, I don't think he'll qualify for legal immigration with a felony manslaughter on his record.
atpjunkie 04-09-2007, 02:33 PM and Geraldo read BillO the riot act. was some great TV.
this should be more about Drunk Driving than immigration
or is it only Illegal Alien DUIs that bother you?
People that die at the hands of residents is acceptible?
How about those driving without licenses and insurance because they had them pulled for previous DUIs?
just checkin'

I suspect immigration reform isn't a matter that Bob Clark's surviving family members have been thinking about lately.

yeah probably not. More like the Will and stuff.

senseless tragedy....hope he gets max sentence and spends the next 20+ years behind bars.....if they deport him, that would compound the tragedy 10x.....people die all the time in senseless accidents, this one is no different. The deaths of successful Hollywood types are no more tragic than anyone elses......

Based on a few too many experiences during the last few years I suspect that it's probably just the "and stuff" part.

nah, it all irks me.
this one just happened to have it all bundled together. And it was both father and son, which got me too.

Dude, that's just cold.

You are the one that brought it up, BECAUSE he was an illegal alien.
If the man who committed this heinous act wasn't an illegal alien, it wouldn't have been brought up, by you. Right? Or do you want to post about every DUI death in this country?

nah, if it was a 15 year white kid without a license or a 90 year old black dude with no insurance, who both then pleaded not guilty, I'd be just as befuddled.
I just deleted another sentence, I think I'll stop now.
Or do you want to post about every DUI death in this country?
yeah, that's what I want to do.
