what do you think should be done with Iran, if they are helping insurgents including powerful mehdi army and hurting coalition forces?

We should ask them politely to stop it and if that doesn't work, we could send Nancy Pelosi to straighten things out. I understand Syria and Israel are now on the best of terms since her visit.

Splendid Idea snake, that’s the best thought you’ve had thus far. Glad to have you on board. Couldn’t hurt, Nancy Pelosi should do better job of it, then the job our fearless leader been doing…

the mehdi army has numerous representatives in the Iraqi Parliament
the mehdi army is made up of the faith of the majority of Iraqi people

We have been failing to provide protection for the people
The Mehdi Army is (along with revenge killing sadly)

So in effect Iran is supporting the majority of Iraqi people

yes, troublesome about nations supporting terror groups

now how many Sunni terror organizations are we behind again?

I like the way you constantly spout off stuff like this without citing any source for it. It must come from some libby blog you are afraid of admitting to reading.

what do you think should be done with Iran ....

you say that like Iran is a problem over there. I think the US has been the problem over there. They are the ones stirring the hornets nest and I am surprised more hasn't been done to answer the problem of What do you think should be done with the US from a persian gulf/middle eastern perspective.

To be fair the british started many of the issues, but the US took up the task soon thereafter. :(

i believe even asking would be rude and inappropriate.

Is it against international law to support "insurgencies"?

Haven't we often done so (currently doing so?) to further our political aims?

and I thought it was common knowledge to anyone with any info on Iraq. didn't think I needed a link. There are around 30 members of Iraq Parliament who are either sympathetic or members of Al Sadrs group. Also 6 members of Maliki's cabinet.
but here. boy if I had been talking out my backside you could have looked it up and caght me lying. but you'd rather not, so I can chalk you up as lazy as well as ignorant

I agree. I hope we're doing everything we can to stop it. But it does seem rather hypocritical to whine about it in the media if we engage in the same type of behavior.
