Ok, this might belong in the beginner's corner, or maybe not in the forums at all, since it's about a mountain bike wheelset.

You might be familiar with the Spinergy Rev-X's. They are for road bikes. But I just found out that there is a wheelset called Rev-Rox, which is a 26" built for Mountain Bikes ONLY. It's full carbon.

How could this be? People always talk about how dangerous the rev-x's can be, yet there's a version for MTB's? Does anyone know the story about this? Thanks in advance guys!

1998 called...

Those things were made long ago and were HEAVY. They really didn't ride all that well either. Very noist and overly harsh...
