It's an 56cm '04 Allez Comp. My first rode bike ever! I'm so excited to get out there and start putting some miles on it. Unfortunately, I've got three fractures in the radial of my left arm, and a broken right wrist, so it'll be at least six weeks before I can really have a go at it. Picked it up for arourn $180 under MSRP, (is it ok to post that info here?) and 15% off anything else I wanted at the time. It was too good of a deal to pass up, so I went for it.

Oh, yeah, definatly going to remove the black plastic thingy from behind the cassette.

I hope you enjoy, actually i know you will because i have the same myself. Bought mine about 2 months ago and she's a dream. Interested to know how did you chose this with your injuries? Did you ride a few before your accident? I rode a Trek Cannondale and a Bianchi before the Spec and in comparison they all seemed slow. ENJOY.

Yeah, I had ridden a Trek 2200, a Spec Roubaix, a Fuji something (can't remember) and the Allez before hurting myself. The Allez just felt right. It did seemed to have more of a "burst" when jumping on it out of the saddle.

Can't wait to got out there and put some miles on it...
