I just got a road bike off a buddy and it came with Ksyrium SSC's but I have owned a few pairs of Cane Creeks on other bikes, 24" bmx, 20"bmx & thier cross wheels and loved them all. Never had a problem with slop, or getting out of true. I have replaced spokes with ease. Why don't I see many CC's on the road?

Because you haven't seen me riding my rain bike with CC Volos TIs? :)

Personally, I'm not crazy about the ride and rear hub. Note: I don't race. They are close to their reported weight, and have remained relatively true. I don't hate them, don't love them, but I suspect there are better wheels out there for what I paid for mine.
