I found an integrated Reynolds Ouzo Comp fork on eBay for $99+$10 s/h from CycleSmithy. The post had a picture of the fork without showing the steerer tube. I assumed it was aluminum. The listed weight was at 518g. Rec'd the fork today and the steerer tube is carbon fiber and the fork weighs in at 479g. Plus they threw in the Reynolds expander wedge. Sweet.

This fork has the white decals on the side and not the horrible graphics that the 2007 models have.

I know you are saying big deal but I'm always nervous when I open up a package bought on eBay.

Is the fork used? Is it shipping from within the US?

The comp switched from alloy to CF steerer in '06.

I bought one of those forks on eBay for my LeMond Alpe over the winter. It did come with all factory packaging and material, with expander and cap. Like you I was concerned about being ripped off, how could I be getting a $300 fork for a hundered bucks? So I called Reynolds and asked them. They said that because they changed their graphics for '07, they decided to blow out all of their stock with the old graphics. They did not change anything with the fork, so they hoped I would be happy with an amazing fork for an incredible price. Hope you got the proper rake, as getting a fork with a rake that differs from the frame's design could make for a very unstable ride! The fork was an incredible upgrade from the Bontrager that came with my Reynolds 853 steel frame. I use a CK headset, and have the tools to properly face the fork crown race area. Make sure you follow the torque specs EXACTLY and make sure your stem matches Reynolds clamping specs or you will risk catastophic steerer tube failure!

Thanks for the info. You confirm what I just posted under 07 vs 06 Comp. Basically people are paying $150 more for the new "branded" fork. The new 07 fork only has 285mm steerer tube and the one I bought had a 300mm steerer tube which is great because I am tall and will use the full 300mm. I personally like the graphics on the 06 vs the busy graphics on the 07.
