Hello all,

So, I have managed to absolutely destroy a set of CXP 33's, and am now trying to find something that migth take a bit more of a beating.

Rider Specs:

- 6'1"
- 235-240 lbs.
- Usually ride in Category B (when in shape can make it with Cat. A) i.e. - in order to keep up....my equipment gets punished regularly....simple Physics.
- Campy rider
- Tight Budget

Any thoughts would be great!

A few that I have begun to research...

American Classic - Hurricane
Velocity - Deep V on Veloce/Centaur hubs
ROL - Volant
??? Mavic???

Thanx,

-A-

Deep V's with 32-36 spokes should build a strong wheel.

CPX 33's are about as tough as they come. What happened to your last wheels, what was the spoking on them, and who built them?

The Deep V's are sturdy for sure, but so are CPX 33's. Obviously, something is wrong with the formula.
