I was selling a basically brand new $2400 MTB on Ebay, but got nervous with Zero feedback bidders and out of country Paypal accounts with U.S. address asking to bid, so I pulled it off.

I have it listed on MTBR. How can you protect yourself against Paypal disputes and possible chargebacks from a possibly unethical buyer?

The bike is brand new (never rode it) and I have six pictures showing the bike.

I was thinking of asking for U.S. Postal money order or certified check only.

Then how do they know to trust you?

International via wire transfer to your bank only. That works. You've really got the money then!

I was going to say the same thing in my original post. I did give my ebay ID in the ad, but I guess someone could give out someone else's ID.
