I'm looking for a way to create graphs, like the one in the link, using data that I input. Does anyone know what was used to create this type of graph. I have tried using Excel but, either I am not very bright or it is not possible with Excel. Thoughts, anyone?

Please don't suggest topo software or GPS's. Thanks

That was a dedicated program. And the only solution really is the software or gps software. Excel can do close, but not that good. Would a graph from bikely.com work? Input the route and get a graph that looks like this:

That graph is easily possible with Excell. Excell can conquer all, it is just not that intuitive or user friendly.

It doesn't have to be exactly like the link. The main thing I would like is the mile/km markers with the grade for that kilometer.

Not intuitive is right. It seemed like it was possible but I would get my %grades offset from the miles and such. I would get kind of close to what I want but never quite get there.
