So, the project SS lugged bike is underway, and it's time to start thinking about paint options. I had thought a simple black to draw attention to the lugs, but now I'm second guessing my self. I know that it is a personal decision, but any thoughts as to what looks fun, or any pictures of bike's you particularly like?

On a side note, the new stupid light fixie is finally done, I'll get some pictures up when I get my camera handy. (Hint, what would you do with a perfectly good Madone frameset?)

Spend some time at either fixedgeargallery.com or velospace.org and browse through the bikes. Something might pop out at you.

I think muted colors are a very tasteful combo with lugs. Something that is appealing but doesn't draw all the attention away from the lugs.
