I was watching the dvr'd version of Sunday's stage of the Giro, and on the final run-in for the sprint, there was a nasty crash. One of the guys had the bike cut right out from under him, and he kept running for a few steps. Amazing. Most freakish crash I've ever seen. The guy took two steps and realized the bike was gone out from under him. Couple guys got banged up nicely though.

Ya, I thought I was seeing things. Saw him waddle a few fast steps, turn around and pick his bike up from the front of the pileup. It sure looked strange.

That was freaky. I though he had fallen and gotten up really fast, it all seemed so fast that he may have never went down. Weird... especially when you consider that he must have been going 30+mph and didn't slide on his shoes.
