Been wondering about "upgrading" to tug. Ive read previous threads about advantages etc. Im wondering how great tugs are out on the open road. I was considering MKS ones but the 10mm? nut could pose a problem with minimal tools out on the open road. Another (cant remember the brand) requires an uncommon allen according to the poster. I think tugs will improve ease of mounting rear wheel, but $20 is not exactly burning a hole in my wallet so if its something I could live without, maybe thats what I should do.

Finally, does anyone know what tugs fit a Soma Rush? The width of the frame at the dropout is measuring 5.3mm. The MKS tugs are available in 5 and 8 mm. I bet that my frame is slightl too wide to handle the 5 mm ones and the 8 mm are too wide (if thats possible).. Any thoughts? I heard the surly version would work

I just put an MKS tug on the Lemond Fillmore since I'm thinking of dragging the BOB trailer around behind it this summer, the tug fit just fine. I have no idea how the Soma compares to the Fillmore dimensions regarding a tug fitment.
