I was able to watch stage 4 on the versus channel provided through cycling.tv. Today I go on to watch stage 5 and find their new web site:rolleyes: I finally get through the hassel of resubmitting my password etc.... only to find that I no longer have a "season ticket" to the versus channel credited to my account so that I can watch the Giro:confused: When I try to open the versus channel portal... its says to subscribe and pay again:mad2: Anyone else have this happen to them today? Three emails to cycling.tv today with no response thought I'd see if anyone else knows how to help me out...

cheers

P.S. Just to keep this as a Giro thread... Wim Van Huffel takes tomorrows stage and also the pink jersey in a break away !!!

Go see the cycling.tv thread that is in this forum, probably on the first page. Many people have problems, and no one ever hears back from Cycling.tv.

(Doing this from memory.) Don't 'open' Versus. Login. Hit 'Live Races' if you are trying to watch live or 'Video On Demand' if you are going for the afternoon As Live (much better). Another window will open with your choices. Select the one you want and it will happen in the original window. - TF

I've never seen so many freaking windows popup and things happen behind. This is god damn insane.

I have no clue why they are running pop up ads now. Everytime a new skyscraper ad changes, my stream has to buffer and pauses.

Why would you ever put a skyscraper or popup ad on a webpage where you are viewing video?

I'm not renewing my subscription, which is up around Dauphine time. I would have easily renewed, but not with their new web site which is such a PAIN to deal with. I'd rather pay 25 quid so that I don't have to open that portal again. I would renew only if they went back and made the site user-friendly like before, and got rid of all those banners and pop ups which are not appropriate on a paid content site. Hopefully someone from cycling.tv is reading this thread.

Now they got an ad that talks, "You've won 2 free IPOD nano's" or something..

Which scares the crap out of me cuz I've got the volume cranked to listen to the 2 announcers.
