I am a poor soul who lives in front of my computer working and I don't have a TV or the outdoor network. I'd love to catch coverage of the tour this year without living in a coffee shop, bike shop, or bar to catch footage. BTW, I live in Durango, CO where ALL bars, coffee shops, and bike shops have a TV set up with the tour running, IT"S GREAT! I checked out cyclingtv.com but it looks like even with premium coverage, they have no coverage. It looks like they only show the last day of the Vuelta. Are there other online/streaming options?

last year yahoo had something...it was live and free called tour tracker. I haven't done any research for this year, but I will pass along the info if I find it. You really have the fever to be thinking about the tour over a month out.

I'm not chompin at the bit yet. But every year, when it comes around, I wish I could watch it(or just listen to it) while I work. There is so much media online these days, I have to admit I'm feeling spoiled anymore. I was checking out cyclingtv.com for Belgium coverage today but it seems that you have sign up and pay for live streaming, which is fair. Just curious how far that goes on that network.

I don't think cycling.tv will be showing the tour live. Versus will have sole coverage in the US. Find a stream of a european channel online or see if you can download torrents of the stages...wouldn't be live but probably within 24 hours or so.

There are a ton of sites that give you live updates. I found a pretty good one on Eurosport. It was actually pretty exciting reading about Landis comeback last year.

Live streaming would be at night here in the US wouldn't it?

7 hours ahead of Central.

I watch the live updates on www.letour.com. Not the same as actually watching/listening to it, but it's better than nothing.

No, live streaming would be very early morning. Sometimes before 8:00am. It depends on the stage. Mtn stages start earliest, time trials start later.

eurosport.com has live streaming audio as well as updated race reports for all three grand tours.

Live steaming sounds good then, but the Versus coverage is great too. Got me through last year recovering from cancer surgery. It was so fun to watch.

Will Versus have online video coverage, or just highlights. We can't get Versus in Canada, and I don't know if OLN Canada will be covering again this year. They did not reply back to my email.

I always enjoy the velonews "live" updates. No video - not even sound - but there's something just so right about waiting for The Fat Guy to sing.

It will be live somewhere. Versus streamed the Giro over cycling.tv. They might do the same for Le Tour. I guarantee when it comes closer, there will be an option.

Check this site. You're sure to find a station covering it somewhere in the world.
