hey.. im getting my frame set for the Cannondale system 6 Si in Liquigas colour in 3 months time (maybe).....the frame kit comes with frame,headset,fork and stem....... the issue is... i just realized that the frame using the SI bb means Oversized bb... s:confused:o i cant swap my duraace crankset on it! sucks!! Lookin at the SI crankset is freakin expensive and not available in New Zealand... do u guys know any other company that using a oversized bb aswell? fsa,shimano,M.O.st?? or watever??? and izzit the SI means i only have to use the cannondale manufactured crank?? the BB size... is sys6 is the only using that OS or theres other bike manufacture is using it aswell? thanx!!!

Actually, Cannondale makes an SI BB adapter so that you can use your Dura Ace or any other standard BB/cranks. The good thing about these adapters is that they are removable (from aluminum frames) so if you end up wanting SI cranks....you can swap.

but system 6 is the carbon front end rite?? means once i installed it i cant remove it anymore???? freakin gay...

Actually the BB area and shell of the System 6 is aluminum, so it is removable. It is the carbon shells on the Carbon Rush, Taurine and Synapse (and prob the Super 6) that aren't removable.
