Worth it. If this was C Record I'd be all over it but I'm a bit poor right now as all my funds have gone on my just finished Roberts TT bike and ongoing Mercian project.

Will I kick myself if I let this go. This Croce fitted bike for example does look quite sweet.:confused:

I forget, were deltas an option over single pivots? Regardless, Croce is a gorgeous group, representing the finest components of that era.

Those Croce Deltas were all you could get in that group. They differ from the Record Deltas in that some of the spring workings are on the outside back of the unit, and not enclosed. Also, the shape of the front plate is a little different that Record, it's a little wider.

Yes you will kick yourself. On the other hand, there's a geurc at a shop on 70th and 3rd w/ Crecord for 1800.

I've always loved the look of the Croce d'Aune's rear derailleur. I don't know what its purpose is but it had what looked like a torsion bar attached to it. It looked overbuilt but beautiful. I've lost many a bid on eBay trying to get one so I settled for a crummy 'ole C-Record one instead.

Does the price include the whole bike or the gruppo? If for the whole bike, I'd get the one with the white Regal saddle.
