I really like the bands around the decals. Is that something you had them make special for you? How about a build list and ride report. What wheels and handlebars are those? mikey_mike 06-20-2007, 01:06 AM Yup you could specify the band it's the uci world champion colors. Frame: axiom sg Wheelset: american classic cr 420 (stickers removed) stem: seven aluminum handlebar: easton ec90 seat post: easton ec90 crankset: record carbon w/ phil woods stainless hub brifter: record frt. der.: chorus rr. der.: chorus chain: record cassette: american racing alloy headset: chris king The build quality is flawless just as what you'd expect from the guys at Seven. This frame corners like its on rails. This bike is for keeps because I know that it can cope up to my needs as I get stronger. Thanks for viewing! ryfry07 06-20-2007, 11:30 AM Looks like a sweet bike. I have an Axiom SG as well and wouldn't trade it for anything. Quick question: I have Easton Circuit wheels right now, and was toying with removing the stickers. I don't know if American Classic wheels use the same type of sticker, but I'm wondering what you did to remove them cleanly? mikey_mike 06-23-2007, 05:51 AM The stickers that came with the cr420 was so easy to remove unlike other stickers, I just peeled them off with my hand and the whole sticker could be removed in one piece without leaving adhesive marks on the rim. I didn't weigh the stickers but I know that its quite heavy for wheel stickers alone. As you know almost the whole side of the rim is covered in sticker. |
